In 2024, I’m very interested in branching out into Futures with the hope of creating a new income stream.
This week, we’ve looked at two simple daytrading Futures systems that could possibly provide income.
And while both hypothetically did great at times, they both had down periods.
Question: What do we do when our index fund goes through hard times?
The answer? Nothing.
That’s the money we’ve invested and we need to shut up and enjoy the drawdown.
But Futures is different. For the same amount of money, we can diversify. We can add multiple systems together.
And that’s what we’ll do today.
Using the wonderful Portfolio Architect software, let’s combine our RSI Nasdaq system with our Stochastics ES system.
If we do, here’s what the Report looks like trading 1 contract each time:
That beats the market by a country mile.
Here’s what the % Equity Curve looks like for a $15k account:
While it meandered around at the beginning, it finished with over a 1,000% hypothetical gain since 2010.
And recently there have been several years of well over a 100% return.
Yes, it has losing years, but the payoff (and possible income stream) is quite large.
I’m very much looking forward to 2024.
Futures are a big reason why.
Talk to you soon.
