Finding the Next Turbocharged Winners

Finding the Next Turbocharged Winners

This week we’ve been discussing a Three-Part Plan.

And, specifically, we’ve been discussion the Turbo part.

This is an account set up to possibly catch big winners that we can then transfer over to a dividend account and have our trading account pay our salary going forward.

The first requirement for a Turbo strategy is that it actually has to catch big wins, though. It seems obvious but it’s surprising how often systems don’t do what they’re supposed to do.

In our last Newsletter, we talked about the Incredible System, which is a ludicrously simple system based on an SMA breakout on a Monthly chart.

Shockingly, this system seems to capture all the big winners we’ve seen recently.

But that’s old news, and not helpful.

Remember, there are two major problems with this strategy (and any turbo-type strategy).

One, we have to be there for the next huge winner.

Two, the system stops out. What if we choose a stock and it hits its stop instead of making 1,000%? Or what if ten stocks break out and every stock we don’t pick are the winners while our picks are losers? It’s a problem.

Fortunately, we can easily solve both of those problems in one fell swoop.

We could trade an ETF.

If we’re only looking at one thing, we won’t miss it.

If all we are looking at is TQQQ, we’re guaranteed to be on board for every big move. We can’t miss a big tech stock move because we already have all of them built in to the ETF.

Would this work?

If we took every trade on TQQQ and compounded our gains each time, a hypothetical $10k account would turn into around $200k since 2010. And the system would’ve kept us out of all the Bear Markets, such as 2020 and 2022.

By doing this, we don’t miss trades and we know when we’ll get our next trade. We just have to wait for TQQQ to crash and move below the SMA.

Unfortunately, that could be a while:

But if we’re willing to take a lot of trades (10-20 at minimum) and willing to take the stopouts in order to possibly get big wins, are there any stocks setting up right now?

Yes. Here’s a small list.

First up is ZM. I know. It fell off a cliff after the pandemic. But guess what? It’s close to a new setup:

A close above the SMA this month could lead to an entry.

Here’s UA:

If it ends March still above the SMA, it could be a trade.

Here’s TOST. It’s already stopped out a couple of times, which we’ve missed, and looks almost ready for a new trigger:

Last, here’s SOFI. It’s also close to being a trade:

Will any of these work? Of course, we don’t know.

But they’re exactly the same setup style as previously big winners, and in a Turbo account, that’s what we’re looking for:

The potential for big winners.

I’ll be talking about more of these types of trades in this month’s YouTube video and I’ll soon be offering a monthly subscription to watchlists like this one.

Happy to have feedback on any of that.

Talk to you soon.
