A Newsletter Stock Made a 200% Move

I have a system and a portfolio I want to talk about this week, but I have a question for you.

Do you care about stocks?

For example, back in late January I posted a Deep Value portfolio. We’ve talked about it before and that screen at that time only had three stocks in it.

Why only three?

Because this scan needs something to be deeply on sale and also have good current momentum. That combination is pretty picky.

At any rate, one of the stocks in that scan was POET. At the time I was writing that Newsletter, POET was trading at $0.94.

As I write this now, it’s reached a high of $3.41. That’s a gain over 200%.

What about the other two in the portfolio? ASYS is up 12% and ENTA is up 18%.

Using equal money for each of those three would be a portfolio return of around 60% while the market is only up 4.6% over the same time period.

Furthermore, I’m currently tracking over 75 different stock portfolios in real-time. Some are based on the opinion of “experts” and others are my own creation.

Interestingly, the portfolios I created have returned an average of 7.86% while the market has returned only 4.58%.
